Tasteful, welcoming, and always pristine, don’t miss this gem located just on the edge of Capitola Village. Luxury lines for special occasions and strong fundamentals for daily wear accented by extra kind staff.

Instead of waiting for consigned items to sell, Boheme pays traders upfront for either in-store credit or cash. A great recycle and upcycle option for men and women, I’m especially fond of their costume selection.
This boutique is where you ask yourself whether you’ve died and gone to style heaven. Carmel is among the most beautiful destinations in the world, but Girl Boy Girl gives the coastline’s natural beauty a run for its money.
Rosemarie, Rosemarie, Rosemarie! Not only do I appreciate her fashion choices and price points, sometimes I just pop in to feel better about the world. What a positive business leader.
One of Downtown Davis' oldest retail establishments, I appreciate The Wardrobe’s attention to local jewelry designers and one of my favorite labels, Joseph Ribkoff.
It’s difficult to find so much forward fashion without a trip to Europe. A traveler’s destination for adaptable clothing, Shu Shu specializes in statement pieces bordering on the editorial. Some of her more conservative styles are shown here, but a trip to the boutique is a must to fully appreciate her breadth.
An authentic haberdashery, men could not do better than Steve’s precision purchasing. Custom professional garments and striking daily wear endure because he’s a stickler for quality. Shoppers enjoy good conversation and a complimentary bar, which, incidentally, served as a lifesaver for this once-anxious mother. (We lived within baby-strolling distance.) A parent support group not found on Amazon!
Does anyone relish bra shopping? Anyone? Thanks to Romantiques, I look forward to it. Carrying only the most successful brands—those worn by real women—they also bring in a little fun…for both sides of the door. What used to be a chore now takes me 30 minutes or less.
I’ve always known Nubia is something special—after all, it’s not every day one can shop for swimwear selected by Brazilian owners. But it wasn’t until I had four surgeries in six months, each with lengthy recoveries, that I realized what a gift they’ve been. Why? Because I still feel confident in suits purchased over the years. With an eye for all of life’s stages and challenges, Nubia is a virtual beachwear emporium.
Nothing maniacal here. Sweet Asylum carries the softest fabrics and colors with unexpected details for a cozy, costal vibe. Make every day a beach day.
I love a man in Robert Graham. These semi-custom shirts are my husband’s go-to for gigs when he shreds it up with his band. Anyone can dress like a rock star. The West Coast’s fifth largest distributor also carries other great brands and is a quick, easy stop for the shopping-reluctant male.
This is my store. At least it should be. For almost 30 years, Yvonne has been responsible for the majority of my wardrobe. From casual to resort, business to special events, this boutique has you covered (or uncovered if you take advantage of the stunning lingerie). Stay current with timeless classics and save money in the long run. With most of my pieces still in rotation after several years, Yvonne is a viable solution to more sustainable fashion.
